About the Event
PhD Kick-Off & PhD Career Days is event designed to welcome new doctoral students and support current PhD researchers across Masaryk University.
The first day focuses on launching your doctoral journey, while the remaining days are dedicated to developing your future career. The event provides you with essential tools, insights, and connections to navigate both your PhD and your professional life with confidence.
Day 1: PhD Kick-Off
Get key orientation info, discover how a PhD works at MUNI, find out where to access support, and meet your fellow first-year peers.
Days 2–5: PhD Career Days
Explore diverse career paths inside and outside academia, learn practical tips from alumni and experts, and build your network during dedicated social and interactive sessions.
