About the Event
At this event, you’ll receive information, tips, and inspiration on how to not only survive your doctoral studies, but truly make the most of them. Learn how PhD studies at MU work, what opportunities are available to you, and connect with colleagues from other disciplines and faculties.
Program & Registration
The event this year will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Komenského náměstí in Brno.
The program will include, for example:
- Introduction to doctoral studies at MU – how they work, what to keep in mind, and what to watch out for
- Overview of support services – education, professional development, mobility, and career counseling
- Stories and tips from more experienced doctoral students and alumni
- Refreshments and networking
- An informal meeting with representatives of the Czech Association of Doctoral Researchers "PhDs for PhDs", where you can ask anything about PhD life in a friendly atmosphere
